New series from Circus-13

A little premature, but I’d like to keep some stuff like this rolling at least, to get it out there.

Waleed Ovase, our new producer for X-men (taking over with episode 4), is developing a new series for Circus-13. He’s adapting The Desperado by Clifton Adams for radio. Never heard of it? Not surprising, it’s a public domain pulp western novel. Once he’s finished with that one, he’s moving on to the sequel entitled Noose for the Desperado. And what is all this for, you may ask?

It’s for our new series, currently in development, entitled Westerns! Once we have those two Clifton Adams stories finished, we might move on to some original Western stories (I’ve got one I need to finish called Freedom, Kansas) or maybe some more public domain pulp Westerns. Man, I love those things.

I am working on an original theme song for Westerns! as I type this (well, in between typing this actually), having never composed music for a radio production before, it should be fun.

If anyone has any original western stories they’d like to submit for possible play in Circus-13’s new series, contact myself or Waleed.
